why any inductive load need free wheeling diode?

Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback

why any inductive load need free wheeling diode?..

it is the properity of inductive load to store magnatic
energy.when FD is conduct the stored magnatic energy is
converted in electrical current though FD.
then the direction of current is same for load.
MAIN FUNCTION OF FD IS TO PREVENT THE CURRENT IN NEGATIVE
DIRECTION

why any inductive load need free wheeling diode?..

the inductive loads needs the free wheelind diode because the inductive that do not allow the sudden change in current so that the negative peaks will come so in order to remove the negative peaks we are using the free wheeling diode the free wheeling will also improves the powerfactor.

Is This Answer Correct ? 2 Yes 1 No

why any inductive load need free wheeling diode?..

the inductive load saving and releasing energy for a
particular intervals. the free wheeling diode provides the
return path to flow the current saved in the inductive load.

why any inductive load need free wheeling diode?..

FREE WHEELING DIODE IS USED TO REDUCE THE NEGATIVE HALF
CYCLE .i.e;IT REDUCES THE REGENERATIVE BRAKING OF AN
INDUCTION MOTOR
