maximum demands of various subdivisions of the system to
the maximum demand of the complete system.

Higher the diversity factor the better will be the load
factor and hence electrical energy will be cheaper. Some of
the loads have inherent diversity eg- the lighting load is
at its peak when industrial load is minimum.
