capacitive transducer : dielectric type. ..

Answer / rohit kumar jha

Capacitive-type transducers, consist of two flexible
conductive plates and
a dielectric. In this case, the dielectric is the
fluid. As pressure increases, the flexible conductive
plates will move farther apart, changing the
capacitance of the transducer. This change in capacitance
is measurable and is proportional to
the change in pressure.

capacitive transducer : dielectric type. ..

Answer / sunny

there are different types of capacitive transducers, in
which parallel plate capacitive transducer is one. it
depends on the formula "capacitance=dielctric
constant*area/distance b/w the plates." as distance b/w
plate decreases capacitance increases and vice versa... this
technique is used in many measurements like flow, level,
temperature....
