In secondary transmission i.e., in distribution side, supply for homes are connected through different phases in order to balance the 3 phase load. But in practical we saw nearby house doesn't have power due to single phasing. But other two phases give supply. How it's possible? it doesn't make "single phasing"?
Why a Permanent Magnet Generator has higher frequency as compared to frequency of main alternator?
in a induction motor if we put capacitor across it will the power factor of the motor will improve? if yes how
please let me know , we have installed two separate motor for fire fighting system 1) 60 hp and 2) 15 hp the load is 74 AMPS and 20 AMPS then tell me the main power cable in Aluminum will be what thickness , the length is 225 mt from the main utility to fire pump house
CAN ANY ONE EXPLAIN THE KNEE VOLTAGE OF THE CT?
I have connected 04nos. earthings to a transformer through 04nos. earthing pits seperately. 02nos. earthings are connected to T/F body, and 02nos. earthings are connected to T/F neutral.T/F capacity is 2000KVA, 11KV/415V. But after completing of 02 years successful operation ,we are facing following problems- 1. CT/PT occured blast one time 2. HT cable box occured blast two times 3. One body earthing strip and one neutral earthing strip of transformer are overlapping at some places. Whenever these two strips are pressed at overlapped points, they made spark. What is the reason of spark? Please explain the reason & rectification of above problems
generally in LT and MV motors we are using 3.5Coresx16,25,35,50 etc cable for supply.although motors is earthed at two point and having all protection.then why we are using that 1/2 core for earthing the motors.while in HT cable we are using only 3core cable for motor supply.generally lt and mv motors are delta connected and ht motors having star connection.whethere it is having any relation with winding connection( star or delta).all motors i am talking about are dol only.can anybody solve my confusion.thanks...
