DIODE IS A SEMICONDUCTOR WHICH IS US TO CONVERT AC TO
PULSUTING DC AND USED FOR RECTIFICATION WHILE CAPACITOR
STORES ENERGY

Diode is like a switch, capacitor is used for improving the
power factor
| Is This Answer Correct ? | 17 Yes | 8 No |
Answer / ch.rajeshkumarreddy
CAPACITOR IS USED ONLY TO STORE THE ELCTRIC CHARGE AND
PASSES WHEN IT REQUIRES.
DIODE IS A SEMICONDUCTORDEVICE IT IS NOT WORKING LIKE AS
CAPACITOR BUT IT CONVERTS AC TO DC AND USED FOR
RECTIFICATION
SO BOTH ARE GOOD BUT IT WORKING STATUS IS DIFFERENT.

Answer / sathya
Diode is nothing but a rectifier used to convert ac to
dc.But there is no conversion in Capacitor. It is just used
to store the energy.
| Is This Answer Correct ? | 10 Yes | 3 No |
Answer / sudheer
diode is acts as switch and capacitor which stores the
charege and capacitor can pass only ac current
