In the field and in the control room different power supplies if used How to handle the ground..

Normally there should be different grounds in control room.
DCS or PLC vendor generally gives the drawing.

Mostly it is taken as convension that there should be 3
different grounding busbars in control room.

1. One is for the power earth. This will give the earthing
to the power distribution panel of the DCS or PLC.

2. Second is the Signal earth. All the shield cables will be
connected to this earthing busbar to minimize the
interference in the analog signal cables.

3. Thrd is Panel earth. This will be connected to the panel
body.

All these 3 busbars should be connected to 3 different
earthpits by 3 different Copper cables. Redundancy of
earthpits or copper cables may be there if possible.

A DP transmitter is used to measure the level of an open tank. The drain line of the tank is connected to a control valve, and is configured as, if the level of the tank is 90% the valve should get open 10%. And if the tank level is 10%, the valve should get open 90%. Draw wiring diagram and explain how to configure DP transmitter and control valve using HART communicator. Lux meter is the measuring device to measure the lux level of lighting fixture. in industrial sector two types of lighting fixture is being used as street lighting purpose 1. HPSV (Sodium) and 2. HPMV (Mercury). HPMV having white light which is an combination of red, blue and yellow colour, while HPSV haivng Yellow lighting. in HPSV red & blue colour will be absent. during measurement of the lux level of HPSV and HPMV fixture. 1. Lux meter can measure the actual lux level of both fixture? 2. or it will show false reading for HPSV fixture light as it has only yellow light present. please give me answer
