What is synchro?
Answer / Ankit Dwivedi
Synchro is a type of rotary electrical transmission system used for transmitting angular position, velocity, or torque information between two mechanically disconnected machines. It consists of a transmitter (synchro transmitter) and a receiver (synchro receiver). The transmitter generates an AC current whose amplitude or phase angle is proportional to the quantity being transmitted, while the receiver converts this varying current into mechanical motion through interaction with a rotor.
