The static resistance (V/I) of a diode refers to the DC resistance that a diode exhibits when it's in the forward-biased state. It represents the ratio of the voltage applied across the diode to the current flowing through it. However, keep in mind that the static resistance is not a constant value and may change with varying temperatures and voltages.
