Operations at Thermal Power Stations involve several processes: 1. Fuel Preparation: Coal or other fuel sources are prepared for combustion. 2. Pulverization: The fuel is ground into a fine powder (coal pulverization) to increase its surface area for efficient combustion. 3. Combustion: The pulverized fuel is burned in boilers to produce heat. 4. Heating Water: The heat generated from the combustion process is used to convert water into high-pressure steam. 5. Steam Turbine: The high-pressure steam drives a turbine, which in turn generates electricity. 6. Condensation and Feedwater Treatment: The low-pressure steam is cooled and condensed back into water, which is then treated before being pumped back to the boiler for reuse.
