1. Riser Height (h): Usually between 6" to 8".
2. Tread Depth (d): Typically 7" to 11".
3. Maximum rise-run ratio: The sum of the riser height and tread depth should not exceed 1/2 of a person's leg length (about 10 inches).
Other factors include handrails, slope, and code compliance.

Also, if possible please provide me the approximate details of total material required (all categories viz. soil, gravel, stone aggregrate, sand, bitumen etc.) as per general mix design prevailing in India.
