what is the limit for KF Factor ,we take factor using water we will found factor between 6 to 7 ,while on KF Reagent bottle mentioned 5 mg/ml water content.if we not use dried methanol it is effect on factor.
Answer / ani suryawanshi
Because in KF reagent there is Iodide and the water is neutralize by iodide so the theoretically factor is
MW of Iodide =126.9
H2O =18
126.9÷18 =7.0 so the factor generally gets about 6 to 7
