In a resistive balanced load, it is common to use single point grounding or earthing rather than neutral grounding. Neutral grounding might not be necessary as the return current would flow through the ground wire of the power supply. Using neutral grounding for a resistive balanced load could potentially create ground loops and increase the risk of interference.
