we can controll the output voltage of generator by changing the exitation...
if we want higher generator output voltage than we have to give more exitation.& vise versa
For frequency control prime mover speed us to be change

What core magnetic balance test of transformer? How to do this test in a three phase Star star (star-LV, star-HV) transformer? How to measure and where to measure?
In a 11kv/433v transformer,at the LT side ie 433 V side why do we need to put 3.5 core Cable upto Panel. The full load rated Amps is 666 at LV side. What value of current will flow through the Nuetral Conductor. Why can't we use 4Core Cable instea of that?
what is KSR type transmission tower? What is LSR type transmission tower?
kVA rating of ordinary transformer is increased when connected as an auto transformer because A transformation ratio increased B secondary voltage increased C energy is transferred both inductively and conductively D secondary current increased
What is Exitation voltage and Exitation current? What is the function of these in Alternator?
why is one voltage transformers (instead of three ) installed at the entrence of the incoming line in a substation.
in three phase it represented by R-Y-B.what is full form of R-Y-B.
how can we minimize the off load losses of a distribution transformer which is required to be energized 24x7 ?? capacity of the T/F is 1250 KVA and off load losses are around 2.0 KW.. can we use capacitor bank at the secondary of such a T/F to overcome off load losses? please elaborate briefly...thanks
