Power consumed(wattmeter)=ct ratio*pt ratio*vi*cos$
2000=(15/30)*(300/600)*600*30*cos$
or, cos$=0.44
P actual=VIcos$=600*30*0.44=8000w

any one guide me to reduce the power factor of diesel Generator from 0.97 Leg to 0.8 Leg.with out any change in my load.

i am swathi, b.tech 4th year. In smps(switched mode power supply)we are using diodes,mosfets,igbts for controling of current.
