How to calculate the amount of Brick,cement & sand required
for 1 cum of 115mm thick brick work with ratio 1:5 please
give me an answer with detailed step
Answer / santosh
.240*.085*.10 = 0.00204 m3 with morter qty per brick
without morter qty of brick = .23*.075*.1 = 0.001725 m3
then 1/0.00204 = 490 bricks
= 490 * 0.001725 = 0.8456 only brick in m3
wet morter qty = 1- 0.8456 = 0.1544 m3
dry morter qty = 0.1544 * 1.32 = 0.204 m3
0.204/6*1cement = 0.03397m3 cement
cement = 0.03397 * cement density 1470/50kg per bags = 1 bags
sand 0.03397 * 6 =.204 m3 sand
sand in brass = 2.83 m3 = 1 brass 0.07208 brass
