What is difference between Over Current & Earth Fault protection?
Answer / Krishna Kumar Chaursiya
Overcurrent protection (OCP) is a system designed to disconnect an electrical circuit when the current exceeds its rated value due to short circuits or abnormal loads. On the other hand, Earth Fault Protection (EFP) is specifically designed to detect and isolate earth faults that occur in three-phase power systems, such as ground faults.
