THE DETECTORS USED IN IR ARE SO MUCH SENSITIVE
THE MAIN DETECTOR USED IN LAB IS
Mercury Cadmium telluride detector (Less common because it requires continues nitrogen supply)
another one is TGAS(Triglycine amine sulfate detector) mostly used in lab
