If cable is disconnected from both side then no any precaution
required but if cable connected from one or both sides then
before starting any work on cable discharge the residual
charge by connect every one lead of cable to earth momentary
and during the work cable should be remain short to earth
to avoid any possible electrical charge.

wht is this amps in power consuption and how can we convert that into consuption hours ? i am a sales executive of a energy saving lamps .
