Direct-mounted pressure transmitters are typically installed with DBB (double bleed block) valves for several reasons: n1) The DBB valve allows for easy calibration and maintenance of the pressure transmitter without disrupting the process flow.n2) The double bleed blocks help to remove air or gas trapped in the line, ensuring accurate pressure readings.n3) In case of a failure in the pressure transmitter, the DBB valve can be used to safely vent the system and prevent damage to equipment or personnel.
