What is the Steel bar spacing formula for Concrete Slab?
Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback
Answer / prashant
it is depend upon the type of bar(like10mm bar,8mm bar)
SPACING=((area of one bar)*(width))/(area of rienforcement calculated)
where,
width=generally 1000mm,
area of reinforcement is calculated from design load,
and area of one bar is calculated from dai of bar which we havw taken(usually 10mm and 8mm fro slab)
