I think the direct action control valve generally used in
pressure control loop as we r using it in the vapour release
vale as pressure incresese as greatter as the set point the
opening of the valve rises as quickly

direct action control valce is mostli use boiler section because if the water flow is reduce the temp is rise and boiler was damage so we use this valve this is normally open.

suppose, after calibrating a transmitter we fixed it in a process line. At live zero condition the Tx shows 4.5 mA. what should we do to make the Tx show 4 mA? If we adjust zero, will it not affect the calibration?
