pozzalona cement in which fly ash is used

opc cement is used for RCC structures where early strength is required. ppc is also used for RCC structures but achieving strength is longer compared to opc. It is suitable for brickwork, plastering work.

OPC is used in small structure as PPC is sued in larger structure.
OPC less heat than PPC while chemical reaction.
PPC required more curing then OPC
PPC set quiker than OPC
PPC available more grades than OPC.
PPC eco frindly as it is manufacturing from waste fly ash.
finally for residential its recommended OPC
for commercial /dam like it is recommended PPC.

OPC is a ordinary Portland cement and used in RCC works but PPC is a Pozzolona Portland cement and use for constructing the slab . This PPC cement is very good in nature and grade of PPC cement is 53 grade. PPC cement has greater strength then the OPC cement .so the PPC cement is preferred ..

In an aggregate blending plant, water is sprayed before blending is performed. If the fine content in aggregate is as high as 25 %, will not the fines form into lumps / balls and distribution will not be uniform ? Further, the fines will stick onto the interior of pug mill and its content will be low. The mixed material is stockpiled for weeks / months before use. Will it not be better that blending is done in dry condition, and water will be added only during compaction at site. Please forward your comments and suggestions.
