yes,the copper loss is depend as the diameter of winding
coil.The coil diameter are inversely proportional to the
resistance of winding coil.The copper loss = square of
current*resistance .the value of current are depend as the load.

how we can come to know that motor winding resistance which showing by DMM is right or wrong???is there any chart or something that we will compare & check???
