What will happened, if field voltage change with 220 voltage to 110 voltage for a dc shunt motor?
If the field resistance and rotor voltage remain the same
,the speed of the motor almost doubles.

In LT cables 3.5 core cable are available that means 3 core and .5 for neutral Why .5 for neutral and is there any reason for that please suggest thanks and regards pavan kumar

In dc motor starter there is less voltage required for holding contactor that's may why it is called no volt coil. but in ac starter why holding contactor is called no volt coil.
