I noted that most hardened concrete sample have some shortening by 0.5~1% during hardening process possibly especially for low strength concrete (<40 MPa) due to bleeding or plastic settlement. Such shortening would lead to an increased density in hardened concrete sample by similar amount or slightly less for high bleeding case.

Our IDCT industrial cooling tower height is 15 mtres so need to RCC structure stability test as par any IS Standard or Indian act.
