225 mm thick RCC slab, how many ton load slab can carry?
for example if 33 ton truck loaded with soil, truck having
6 wheels. slab can take load or not? grade of concrete is
M35 and slab design Fe500, slab desing one way slab.

225 mm thick RCC slab, how many ton load slab can carry? for example if 33 ton truck loaded with s..

Answer / Vaibhav Kumar

To calculate the load-bearing capacity of a RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) slab, we use the formula:
ql = fcd x b x s / d
ql = load-bearing capacity (in N/mm²)
fcd = design cylinder compressive strength (in N/mm²), in this case M35 is 35 N/mm²
b = slab breadth (in mm), let's assume it's 1000 mm for simplicity.
s = effective slab depth (in mm). To calculate s, we consider the effective depth of a one-way slab as d - h/2, where d is the total slab depth and h is the height of reinforcement. However, without knowing the exact values of d and h, I cannot provide a numerical answer.
