Answer / arul azhagan
four stroke is more
efficiency then two
stroke. In
four stroke engine if
nozzel spray more fuel, the
extra fuel(unburned fuel)
is save in the fib pumb but
in two stroke the extra
fuel is mixed with burned
air and exhaust in the port

A four stroke engine is more efficient than 2-stroke due the
following reasons:-
1.)For the same size of cylinder, Some of the power and
compression stroke get wasted due to the presence of ports.
Improper combustion due to the mixing of burnt gases with
fuel.
2.)The fuel consumption is four stroke is less and the
combustion power in four stokr engine is greater there by
reducing the emmission of smellier gases.
3.)prescence of valves which precisely control the flow of
charge into the chamber and exit the exhaust gases with
proper timing which is hard to achieve by ports in a 2
stroke engine.

Answer / raja irfan
the efficiency of engine is calculated by revolution of crankshaft or flywheel. In 4 stroke engine crankshaft revolves twice(720 degree)in 1 complete cycle and in 2 stroke crankshaft revolves once (360 degree)in 1 complete cycle. thus a 4 stroke engine is more efficient than 2 stroke engine.

Answer / stush
A four stroke is more efficent. There are two revolutions
of the crankshaft for every complete cycle, whereas the two
stroke rotates the engine only once.

4s engine is more efficient than 2s as comapred with the
following:
load: 4s more load carrying capacity
2s less load carrying capacity
efficiency: 4s more efficient
2s less effficient
power :4s more
2s less
the reasons being ,the presence of valves in 4s helps it to
take in fresh charge and drive out the exhausts more
effectively then in 2s
