what is o2 analyzer and how it measured ,what is the role of
this analyzer in cfbc boiler...
Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback
O2 analyzer is used in all types of boilers like CFBC and
AFBC etc..role of this analyzers to measure the O2
concentration after the ECONOMIZER ,it is a normal value like
(3 to 4) no problem ,if any variotions obeserved based on
that value we can increase/decrease SA fan air into the boiler

:- If analyzer showing wrong on DCS than first I will
forced the analyzer value on the DCS if any tripping taken
from it.
Through the Multimeter checked the value 4 to 20 mA on DCS
or same on field As per define range in the DCS as well as
analyzer transmitter. If all things are correct than its
calibration was got disturbed. For the calibration
1 For the calibration we need sample gas and instrument air.
2 Connect the both input instrument air and sample air
through the rotameter for flow control of the both air and
sample gas.
3 Power on the analyzer and communicate hart communicator
with the analyzer.
4 For the zero calibration apply the sample gas with the
help of rotameter for flow control on the analyzer. And
press enter on the zero calibration on the hart
communicator.
5 For the span calibration apply the Instrument air with
the help of rotameter for flow control on the analyzer. And
press enter on the span calibration on the hart
communicator.
After calibration save the setting with the help of the
hart communicator.
And cross checked the same 4 to 20 mA by given the
instrument air and sample gas accordingly.
