A fan having rotational motion is due to the principle of conservation of angular momentum. When the motor of a fan supplies torque, it causes the fan blades to spin around their axis. The rotation of the fan blades imparts rotational kinetic energy to the air, causing it to move in a circular motion.

Heat a vessel with water inside and cool it under tap suddenly. Now when we try to open it...It does not open easily ...why?
