3phase motor 400v (induction) A.C 4kw company design 1400rpm but our requirement 2000rpm possible?..

Answer / michael

i dont think it is possible,
because i know 1400rpm is
the rated speed or full load speed,
even we vary the frequency still
it will overload because the
2000rpm is higher than the
full load rpm.

Answer / gumnam parinda

u can use variable frequency drive. Yaskava, fugi, franic are the
drive's compney, u can increase or decrease the speed by increse
or decrease the frequency. This is the best method for speed
purpose and also for protection purpose

We know that primary transmission is done to reduce current so that i^2*r loss could be minimised but according to ohm's law v is directly proportional to i,which indirectly means higher potential difference means larger current?so how the current is minimised in high power transmission line??
