I dont think an ece student should should join in tcs
unless he/she is interested in working for software
development.
what ece people do is designing hardware and making it to work
as a whole unit.for example ece ppl develop microprocessors
which r kept in computers and these r used by d software
programmers to develop an application.


So in my opinion, if u r really interested in what u have
studied in ur under graduation and want to work in that
field its the best way to do ur pg from reputed instutions
like iit's, bits etc and continue ur career as a designer
