Total quantity of wall = 14400 x 5 (14400 conveted into
sq.inches)= 72000 cu.inches.

volume of one brick= 3x5x9=135 cu.inches

hence no.of bricks reqd.= 72000/135= 533 nos.

In 100 s1 ft there are 100 sq ft x 12 x12/ 3 x 9sq inch = 533 no of bricks of size 3x5x9 inches the width of wall being 5 inch

add 5 % for wastage = 26.65
559.65no say say 560 pcs

total area=100 given and width is also given=5" so tota
l area=10*12*10*12*5=72000 sq inch and vol of bricks =3*12+5*12+9=105 so no of require bricks =total area/vol of bricks =72000/105 =685.71 bricks
