In delta connection line voltage= phase voltage,VL=Vph and
line current=√3phase current, IL=√3Iph.
In start connection Line voltage=√3 Phase voltage ,
VL=√3Vph and line current=Phase current,IL=Iph and in
this connection we got star or neutral point.

star connection - phase voltage is 1/1.73 times line voltage so speed will be less and required insulation will be low , hence saving of copper achieved. now for delta start you motor which is in your mind!!!!

How do I know if a transformer is saturated? I am doing the simulation of the saturation of a transformer, but what parameter tells me when a transformer is saturated? How do you calculate? is on the plate?, there is a rule that can help me? How could model? I understand the saturation occurs when the flow can no longer bind to the other winding, this is given to certain current, this current is the same that appears as the highest in the bale of features? Thank you for your help Eduardo Alvarez Guatemala
