what is transistor biasing?why it is necessary?..

Answer / soumya s nair

to fix the operating point at the middle of active region a
dc voltage is provided,ie it prevent the signal swing below
cut off.
Necesary of Biasing:
1)To fix the operating point at the middle of active region.
2)stabilize the collector current aganist temperature
varrions.
3)operating pont independant of transistor parameters

what is transistor biasing?why it is necessary?..

Answer / r. k.

Transistor biasing is a special arrangemen tof transistor
which is made to operate it in active region of its
characteristics.

what is transistor biasing?why it is necessary?..

Answer / raju kumar

transistor biasing is three type
1) voltage divider biasing
2)emitter biasing
3)base bias
4)collector bias
in genral we use the voltage divider biasing .
biasing is necessary for transistor work like
emmiter base junction is in forward bias & collector base in
reverse bias so that transistor works in active resion.

what is transistor biasing?why it is necessary?..

Answer / linilb abu.ck

Q point of operating power is better.Q point of transistor
operating is very low distortion maximum signels or power
gain.Silicon for minium 0.7v germanium for minium 1v and it
is biasing of transistor.otherwords saturation point and
cutoff point works in the transistor is does not works the
amplifier

transistor biasing is three type
1) voltage divider biasing
2)emitter biasing
3)base bias
4)collector bias
in genral we use the voltage divider biasing .
biasing is necessary for transistor work like
emmiter base junction is in forward bias & collector base
in reverse bias so that transistor works in active region
that is Q point (sufficient working og transistor)

Is This Answer Correct ?    24 Yes 7 No

what is transistor biasing?why it is necessary?..

Answer / kazi mostafiz ahmed

simply it define biasing is a driver(voltage or current)
which is determined the transistor various operating point.

Is This Answer Correct ?    14 Yes 7 No

what is transistor biasing?why it is necessary?..

Answer / ramu

biasing is nothing but external energy applied across base
terminal to activate the transistor. it is neccessary
because to work transistor is properly. stabilisation is for
maintaining a q point stable.emitter resistance is for this
purpose.

Is This Answer Correct ?    13 Yes 6 No

what is transistor biasing?why it is necessary?..

Answer / mukesh bramhane

The proper flow of zero signal collector current and maintainance of proper collector emitter voltage value during application of input signal. This process known as transistor biasing.

Is This Answer Correct ?    13 Yes 7 No

what is transistor biasing?why it is necessary?..

Answer / john malik

biasing is required for the purpose of establishing proper operating conditions.and bias is separately applied with D.c supply

Is This Answer Correct ?    3 Yes 1 No

what is transistor biasing?why it is necessary?..

Answer / chiru

to act transistor at active region and to bring Q point middle of active region we need transistor biasing

Is This Answer Correct ?    0 Yes 1 No

what is transistor biasing?why it is necessary?..

Answer / praveen

We apply external DC supply to get desired operating (Q) this is called Biasing .

Guys I am in DILEMMA.. plz HELP!!! Guys, I am engineering graduate in ECE from Banglore(VTU). I am working as Tech support engr, in one of the mnc. Now I am worrying about my future, like should I continue in this (fedup with night shipts) or shall I do other domain courses (like software testing, SAP, JAVA )(?). If I do CCNA then is it gonna help me with the tech support engr and in future(?){if I get handsome bucks after doing the CCNA, then I can continue with the night shipts and tech support} But I dont know if it is going to happen(please suggest). Is the technical support will join to the Network engineer post in future(any way)? Will the pay become as like software in future? Please help!!!! Thank you
