KBr USED, WHICH SHOULD BE SPECIFICALLY OF SPECPURE GRADE ,
IS TRANSPARENT TO IR RADIATION AND DOES NOT HAVE ANY KNOWN
MODE OF VABRATION IN IR REGION OF 4000-400cm-1.

Answer / pramod s
Because KBr is IR absorbant so no any interferace in
sample in range between 4000 cm-1 to 400 cm-1 as well as
make a thin pellet.

i.e do not have any peaks in the IR region.

though both ans seems ok but what i feel is KBr shows no
Background correction.and no interaction with sample matrix.
