ACCORDING TO OHMS LAW V=IR...NOW SC MEANS THEIR IS ZERO
POTENTIAL DIFF BET TWO POINTS SO THAT V=0 AND SO THAT VALUE
OF RESISTANCE IN SC TAKE ZERO...BUT IN OPEN CIRCUIT THIER
IS NO ANY CURRENT PASSING SO THE VALUE OF I=0 AND R IS
TAKEN AS INFINIVITY...BASIC RULES IN NETWORKS...

For short circuit study and calculation, please follow IEC 60909.
There are three methods are available for short circuit studies:
1. Newton-Raphson,
2. Fast-decoupled, and
3. Accelerated Gauss-Seidel.

What is cross over distortion? How it can be eliminated?
we have a 2000kva step down transformer at our site. The HT side is charged from 22000V. So the primary current will be 52.48A. So why the HT breaker(SF6 ABB) is rated of 1250Amps ?

I have finish diploma electronics and five years experience in electrical field in ht service how can i get c licensce or other electrical certificate
i have 3500 amp load and select current transformer and perches.how i calculate .please understand
whether inrush current for lamps or capcitors should be considered cable sizing to feed that load.
How much minimum insulation required between 11kv/3.3kv transformer windings?
What is metering cubical? What is the use?
what is the importance of earthing system on the generators big capacity and small?
We say that if voltage in a power system is increased, for a constant power the current will decrease (by P=VI). isn't this in disagreement with the ohms law(I propotional V;resistant const.).Since the resistance of transmission lines remains constant, shouldn't inc in voltage cause inc in current across the transmission line? I have read many articles across the net but still couldn't this figure this out. :( Guyz plz assist me with dis..:)..
power is the product of voltage and current.so we can measure the value of power just by using ammeter and voltmeter.......then why do we use a wattmeter?
