Answer / a. nagaraja
Refractory work will be done in the boiler at the bottom
four sides, manhole doors, burner area, peephole area and at
the top of the boiler. To heat the refractory from low
temp. to high temp, slow firing is done. So that
refractory will be gripped. And also to remove the
unwanted particles like sand, rust, oil and others from
boiler tubes and headers slow firing is done.
TSP and NaoH chemicals will be added with D.M water and it
will be filled in the boiler. The prs. will raise slowly
up to max. 15kg/sq.cm
