As we Know we use t/f to step up or step down voltage.Ideal
t/f is that which can transform the input without any power
loss.
i.e. V1.I1=v2.I2

in ideal transformer has no ohmic losses because its wdg has no resistance and there no magnetic lekage d hence which is no copper losses and hence it is also known as purely iductive coils wound on it
