Hi.. My Manager is going to initiate L1 for me. My name is
misspelt in my passport, will it effect any where in the
process? It was a typo done by the passport issuers,
Instead of gaYAThri, they typed gaYTAhri. If it is a
problem, what is the immidiate action I need to take now?

Yes, It will definitely be a major problem as US consulate
is very particular about these details. Please contact your
local passport authority and ask them to rectify it. All you
need to fill up a form and submit it.

It actually depends,,, most of the cases while filing a
petition they go according to the name Spelt in the
passport,, but its always advisory to contact the passport
office for a change bcz the spell will be changed in most
ot the other docs like ( Mark Sheets , company records ).

After HSC, I did diploma in computer application and technology (full time 2 years consist 4 semeseter) hence i got admission in Bsc[IT] second year then i completed 2nd and 3rd year and have my Bsc[IT] degree. Now I have education like: SSC + HSC + 2 years DIPLOMA + 2 years OF BSC[IT] 10+2+2+2=16 my question is.. am i eligible to file L1-B visa through my company? as per the rules US needs 16 years of education or 15 years education + 3 years of experience. but i dont have that much experience. so please let me know whether my education can be treated as 10+2+2+2=16 YEARS?

My Company going to file L1-B next week.i completed my MCM FY in 2005 & due to health problem i was not able attend MCM final exam in 2006 hence i passed the MCM final in 2007 means i did 2 Year PG in 3 Year after that i have 3 year 6 month of IT experience.Do the 1 year passing diffrence in education can cause any issue in Visa. Hi, I got rejected 3 times for B1 2 years back. but that time i was working for small company. now i am going to appear for the L1 visa. my profile has couple of changes, one is, i am working for a bigger well known company and now i have completed MCA. earlier when i got rejected B1, i only had MBA which is not a technical degree since i am into software development. Hi, I have my visa interview next month. My passport will expire on 11/2010. My father name in passport Achupha where as in all certificates it is Achutha. In first name in first name instead of T it is given as P in 5t character. Will it be a problem for Visa.
