I was passed in 2007.did lectureship in engineering college
for 2.5 yrs then did one professional course in 2010.from
there i got placed to MNC now having 1.5yr of exp in
software.Now my company wants to file L1 B visa for me.As
dis visa is meant for people with specialized knowledge.Is
this 3.5 yr of gap after my education and job will be reason
for my L1 rejection.Do the visa officer check every
educational certificate thoughrouly.I cant mention
lectureship as my previous employer also.plz help I have my
visa interview is on next week.

Hi, I have both B1 and L1 valid visas.I will be travelling to USA next week on Business trip for a duration of 5 weeks on B1 Visa. I have done Diploma in Mechanical engineering. I am going to attend interview for L1 VISA. Earlier I had worked in 3 companies and there was a gap of 6months in between. My surname is being mispelt in the degree certificate instead of AIYAR it has been mentioned as IYER. Other documents have the name as AIYAR and as per passport also it is AIYAR. Will this create a problem for my L1 visa. I am a Chartered Accountant and name in my CA certificate is AIYAR.
