POWER TRANSFORMERS.
TRANSFORMERS RATING UPTO AND INCLUDING 1600 kVA ARE COMES
UNDER DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMERS.

THESE ARE SPECIFIED AS PER INDIAN STANDARD 10028 (CODE OF
PRACITICE FOR SELECTION,INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF
TRANSFORMERS PART-1, PAGE NO-4).

Air Balst Cooling Or ONAN Type Cooling(OIL NATURAL AIR
NATURAL)
While The Transformer Have Less KVA rating As Wll As In It
We Use to The NAtural Air Cooling Or Oil Cooling

power t/f which step down from HV to LV. ratings of the
power t/f is in mw supply is given to this t/f by
generating station or substation. while in the distributon
t/f it step down the suply from 11kv to 440v or 230v. the
supply is directly given to the consumer.
