ppm solution is prepared by dissolving 1mg in 1 litre solution i.e 1mg/1000ml
or
1ug/ml solution is also called as 1 ppm

mass of solute/mass of solution*10000000=ppb
ppm means parts per million.
mass of solute/mass of solution*1000000=ppm
