when MBA was not there in market. people interested to join
in p.m because it is management course there is lot of
opportunity after completing this course.

2) hr means a person who works in personnel dept,.there work
is basically recruitment, selection, calculation of
gartutiy. provident fond etc.
3)personnel management means managing people at work.

Earliers only personnel manager only use to look after all the company HR & PM matters having Dimploma in PGDIRPM OR MA Personnel Management. Today lot of study being undertaken and HR emerged as a big subject in Management because managing man is difficult task than material.
