The Reverse power relay is of Directional Relay.
The function of the Direction Relay is to sense(activate) if
the direction of the power is changed.

Reverse power relay which acts according to the direction
of current flow.
For Example : it is normally used in Generator protection.
because generator produce power ie it gives the current.

when the generator speed reduced, load decreaes to zero
gradually, power will flow into the generator & act as a
motor if the Generator circuit breaker is not opened.

This is sensed by the CT, direction of the flow of current.
