basically a capacitor which is used to avoid the sparking
and ultimately to avoid the damaging of contacts.

CDI MEANS CAPICATOR DISCHARGE IGNITION ,when the pulser
coil gives pusle to CDI at that time it get dischage and
gives its charge to I.G coil for ignition.
