In 8086 mp 1mb memory is formed in the form of segment
registers....but at a time mp can access only one segment
memory rest is being unused......bst of my knowledge

As far as I know, the external address bus in 8086 is 20
Bits, thus the maximum addressable memory blocks are 1Mega
(1048576) in 8086, memory is byte addressable, so the
maximum addressable memory is 1Mega Bytes.
