Answer / ds raju
Density of normal concrete in between 2400 to 2600 Kg/Cum.
For High density concrete, density not less than
3600Kg/Cum. In general this type of concrete will be used
in Nuclear related structures like Nuclear Power Plants,
etc.

Answer / b.srinivasarao
density of normal concrete is in order of about 2400 kg/cu
mt and high density concrete is ranging from about 3360-
3840 kg/cu mt ,whuch is about 50% higher than the unit
weight of normal concrete.the high density concrete is used
in the construction of Radiation shields.
Note: density of light weight concrete will be less than
1900 kg/cu mt
