you may be knowing about the equal area crietria, in this
as suddenly you disconnect the busbar from the alternator,
the rotor of alternator may lose the syncronism and
terminal voltage will be zero, and accrding to the relation
p=pm-pe, where pm is mechanical power and,
pe is electrical power
when pe=0 that means p=pm, it means only mechanical power
will be there.
