There is no specific value as such, but usual values are as follows.
1) Generating Stations less than 1 Ohm.
2) 220kV Sub stations up to 1 Ohm.
3) 66kV S/S up to 2 Ohm.
This should be as low as possible.

Is it necessary to seperate the DG earth grid with Electricity Board earth grid for protecting the DG set. if yes why?
