Exciter winding- It is a field winding in the rotor of
alternator.
Stator winding- It is a winding in a stationary part of the
alternator.
AVR- Automatic Voltage Regulator. To control the speed of
the rotor by regulating the exciter.

In an electrical conductor, if current flows because of flow of electrons, then why not the conductor gets thinner day by day???
